Letters of Access for Iron and Iron Substances
The Iron Platform Letter of Access for Iron and other substances is available for purchase by all interested parties via the web portal linked from this page.
Purchase of a Letter of Access from the Iron Platform will involve the following steps:
- submission of the completed online application form - see link to PURCHASE LETTER OF ACCESS below.
- submission by email of the completed and signed Letter of Access document [template can be downloaded via the links below] - email to sief@iron-consortium.org
- payment of the invoice that willl be emailed by Iron Platform Services Ltd. [IPSL] - our target is to send the invoice within 7 working days
- on receipt of payment in full [i.e. nett of all bank charges], IPSL will sign and return the Letter of Access document by email, together with the token[s] for the Joint Submission[s] in the ECHA REACH-IT system.
There are separate LOA agreement for EU manufacturers / importers [the STANDARD agreement] and ONLY REPRESENTATIVES. Please download the LOA agreement templates via the links below.
Letters of Access are available on a per legal entity basis - they can if needed cover more than one of our substances.

The next steps
- join the Joint Submission via the ECHA REACH-IT system with the token provided
- pre-registrants should then submit their own IUCLID 6 registration dossiers to ECHA
